We scan all large format documents (aerial photos, architectural / mechanical / engineering drawings, quad maps, contour maps, etc.) with high-performance scanners. Scanning capabilities range from black and white to grayscale to color.
All scanned data is saved digitally as a raster file (tiff uncompressed, tiff compressed, .bmp, .jpg, .gif, etc.) and stored to a CD/DVD. 1 CD/DVD can hold over 1,000 large drawings! (<1Mb/DWG for CD and <4MB/DWG for DVD) (Other storage options are available; i.e., external hard drive, USB flash drive, mini SD card, etc..)
